Want to know how to avoid writers block? Every writer suffers the occasional writers block and wakes up one day thinking, just what can I write today? Sometimes writers tend to think too hard about what to write instead of just getting down and writing something. Let me give you an example. HOW TO AVOID WRITERS BLOCK TIP 1: JUST WRITE! Last weekend, I was researching keywords for articles, and I had chosen my keyword but wasn't sure whether I had enough to write an article on that keyword. I then ended up writing 1000 words or more, having originally intended writing just 400 words! What started out as a simple 400 word article, ended up as a 7 page PDF - and, even a video that then ranked on page one within half an hour! The moral of the story is that there is always enough around you to compile an article, a PDF or a video. HOW TO AVOID WRITERS BLOCK TIP 2: DRAFT ONE IS NEVER THE FINISHED ONE Another good way to avoid writer's block is to write your original article, and then, after a break, go back and look over it. You'll be amazed at how much more content you can come up with by just having a break from it for half an hour or so and grabbing a cup of coffee. As I say, once I had written 400 words, I found that I wanted to write more as I had forgotten some key points in my original first draft! HOW TO AVOID WRITERS BLOCK TIP 3: READ AND COMMENT ON OTHER BLOGS, SITES IN YOUR NICHE. If you are struggling with finding article ideas, you can always read articles from other blogs, websites, experts in your niche, and do a comment style article, giving your own opinion on theirs! Read newspapers, magazines, and other mainstream print/online media in your niche. Find out what is going on in your niche by using Google alerts, and have the feed sent to your email inbox every day. That way you will be kept up to date, and will always have content at your finger tips! HOW TO AVOID WRITERS BLOCK TIP 4: ASK QUESTIONS OF YOUR ARTICLE I also find another good way is to write a list of questions which relate to your article. For example, why, how, where, who? If you can answer some of these from after writing your article, then you have written a decent article ready for publication. Article titles also offer a good way of gaining ideas for other articles. For example, "FIVE WAYS TO WRITING BETTER ARTICLES," can lead to you writing another article expanding each "way" in more detail. In other words, five separate articles! OK, so I think I've given you some key tips here on how to avoid writers block, so now it's up to you to get down and write a killer article that turns heads!
