Blatant sensationalism of Mainstream Indian Media

Please clearly see the video footage...

This is immensely disturbing. This kid was allegedly denied admission in a posh english medium school...cause apparently the school was scared of the dangers of being target. Naturally when I started to see, my sympathy was with the kid...but it slowly changed as I saw...The Vice principal of the school was called from the television studio, and he tried to helplessly explain that the kid is absolutely illiterate...but wanted to take admission in the school, directly at the 5th standard...she aparently also couldnt undrstand a single english word...

When the child spoke on camera, she was speaking with a conviction which only a carefully rehearsed and taught person can...It was clearly undrstood, she was taught to play on the sentiments along the poor, downtrodden, neglected lines. we are so used to it...Clearly opportunism, greed of the parents maybe? An inherent habit of getting things easy by exploiting the emotions, and selling poverty?

What was even more dangerous was this trend of mainstream media highlighting the sensational part, and distorting the truth. Dangerous was the cold calculating eyes of the kid, and the conviction with which she was clearly making false allegations...Blatant lies. This is the lessons parents teach children these days. and frankly, this is the curse of our Indian society...
