In the midst of the recession in the UK, and supposed economic recovery, some are affected more than others. This short monologue titled 2008 was directed by Alfred K Mante of Narrow Path Films. It voices the frustration of a generation, trying to make good of a seemingly dire employment situation, as told through the eyes of one affected young man.
