Media man Sami Al-Hajj, prisoner 345 at America's notorious concentration camp in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, has been on hunger strike for more than a year to draw attention to his plight.
Sami, who is from Sudan, was arrested in Pakistan in December 2001 while travelling with a legitimate visa to work in Afghanistan as a camera operator for Al Jazeera television station. But he is being held as an 'enemy combatant' by the US.
Prisoner345.net is dedicated to empowering Sami's family, friends and colleagues, together with all supporters of human rights around the world, in the campaign to set him free.since 7th January, 2007.
The-Latest supports Sami and urges our readers to do the same.
