How right-wingers are fighting back against Obamamania

I was researching for a story on US prez Obama's 3rd week in office, when I came across a rather interesting news article. Apparently one Joyce Capron, a rebel   of advanced age and energetic habits, in the highly right-wing blog called American Thinker has come up with some ways of resisting Obamamania.

What is her technique? Well, to start with, she refuses to do fist bumping, as it is commonly used by the President. She said she needs a different hand gesture for the Republicans, rather than this "crypto-fascist hand jive". (Fascist? I've heard them accuse Obama of being a communist! It's so hard to keep up).

She also devised a tactic of turning over the magazines and books with Obama's photo on the cover, in local supermarkets and malls. Aware that she is interfering with trade, Capron says she at least gets the satisfaction that it will prevent more people from becoming socialists. And, lastly, she arms her children, who have founded a minority conservative club in their high school, with ideas against Obamafication.

The article has opened a floodgate of comments, with people suggesting various signature hand movements for her and her fellow neo-cons, from nose-picking, to thumb-sucking, to the good old fashioned pop up. Also, there are quips about Capron no longer speaking English or wearing clothes too, as President Obama does.

Any guesses as to what ideas she gives her "Republikids"? It is mighty good of her to still resist the urge to use any racial slurs. Still, when I last saw a   Fox or rather "faux" Tv news coverage, I learned that it is considered unpatriotic for anyone to show open disapproval for their president. "Either you are with us, or you are against us...". At least that is what we were made to believe in the last eight years by Mr George W Bush the "Texan Prezdnit" and his Vice President, Ernest Stavro Blofeld...or was it Dick Cheney? Anyways, they looked the same, on the day of Obama's inauguration.

As for Capron hiding the magazine covers, well that is a political oxymoron. How can you stop socialism by interfering with the free market? That is exactly where socialism starts.

She asks, what else can she do other than such acts of civil disobedience? My suggestion is she can start by growing up or join the racist goons who burned an Indian immigrant alive in Italy. I had a talk with my friend Rosa Alvarez in New York, who's also a blogger on Wonkette, and asked about the mood there. "The Republicans have always led a life of subtle desperation", she said to me, "but no worries,   Barry (Barack) Hopium's the new sheriff in the house...he's gonna put it right".

Guess that says enough. Tough luck, Joyce baby.
